Mikumi National Park

Birds one of the most key attraction in mikumi national park , the park has more than 450 bird species with both permanent habitats and also migratory birds , the    huge number of birds has made the park to be one of the best birding destination in the southern part of tanzania . So far the size of the park not all that very big but the diversity of the ecosystem and the vegetation has  attracted different bird species. The most sighted birds are bateleur eagles , black chestead snake eagle ,  black eyed bulb , oxpeckers , cattle egret , guineafowl.
